2Setting up the Class
3Static IP Address for Laptop
Configure a static IP address for your laptop.

4Installing the Software
- Go to the PBX Software folder on the USB, or go
to http//wiki.snomone.com and click Downloads. - Click the appropriate link (32 or 64 bit).
- Double-click the setup.exe file and install the
software. - If you are installing snom ONE yellow or snom ONE
blue, the setup.exe file is located on the USB
stick in the snomone/windows folder.

5Verifying the Installation
Enter localhost into a web browser.

6Using Windows ServiceControl Manager
- Click Start.
- Right-click Computer.
- Click Manage.
- Double-click Services and Applications.
- Double-click Services.
- Ensure system exists and is started.
pbx_startup_err.txt Tells why the system did
not come up the last time an attempt was made.

- Click Admin gt Settings gt License, then choose the
appropriate option. - Enter the product activation code or license key.

17Cancelling SIP Multicast
Domains and Aliases
To simplify interacting with other students
networks in the classroom environment, multicast
must be turned off.
- Go to Admin gt Settings.
- Set Listen to sip.mcast.net to No.
- Click Save.

18Upgrading the Software
- Navigate to Admin gt Status of the PBX and
determine the working directory and version
number of the current software. - Make a backup of the existing version. This step
can be done while the PBX is running. - Download the new executable, and copy it to the
working directory. - Rename the new file.
