8Example.
I say to you today my fellow female consumers of
the future, that we must look up to the neon sign
of hope and glory, the radiant, splendorous
magnificence that is Schuh heaven. We must
believe that our time is coming to truly be at
one with the land of metallic leather, suede and
nubuck. I have a dream that one day the
independent, fashion-conscious woman will no
longer be restricted by money-hungry corporate
men in suits. I dream that one day we will not
need to wear foot attire of the Hush Puppy nature
or bow to the firm hand of Marks and Spencer
sensible, cushion-comfort. I have a dream today!
I dream that the free, trend-alerted,
cosmopolitan woman will be able to wear stilettos
that no longer cramp toes or create unsightly,
toe-curling bunions. I dream that one day all men
will bow to the female urge to shop to the very
limits of ecstasy, to fulfil the longings of her
satin-lined, leopard printed bow purse. This is
the hope I rest my loose change with the
knowledge that one day we will be foot- beautiful
at half the price!
