- Subjective or Objective?
- I or me?? when there are more than one person
involved - I will always be the subject doing the action.
- Tom and I played chess last week.
- Me will always be the object receiving the
action. - Catherine let Tom and me play chess at her house.
- ALSO, who will always be the subject and whom
will always be the object.
Check your answer by taking out the other
persons name and reading the sentence with just
the pronoun to see if its correct!

used as subjects in a sentence. Also use these in
the predicate if the pronoun follows a linking

- Objective Case these pronouns are used as
objects in a sentence (usually found after the
verb, such as a direct object, or as an object of
the preposition, etc.) - me, you, him, her, it, us, them
What is wrong with this sentence? "She is so much
taller than him!" Mother said with surprise. How
will you fix it?
What is the correct choice for the blank? A clown
was (he/him). Clue What kind of verb is it?
The answer is A clown was he. Why?
The answer is A clown was he. Why? Because the
verb was is a linking verb.
He is the correct choice "She is so much
taller than he!" Mother said with surprise.
Why is the correct choice he? "She is so much
taller than he (is)!" Mother said with
surprise. He is actually Nominative Case.
