AUD in the News

• 6-03-2009 The Australian economy grew by .4 and
  the currency was valued at it highest in the past
  eight months. This is the result of the lowered
  interest rates the government had placed on the
  nation in hope to boost the economy.
• 6-09-2009 The Australian consumer confidence
  jumps the most in the past 22 years, resulting in
  the continued strengthening of the AUD.
• 6-10-2009 It is expected that the AUD will
  continue to strengthen against the USD.
• As U.S. two-year bond yields fall, the US Dollar
  will fall with them, and well see Aussie,
  Sterling, and Euro head higher. Richard Grace

• 6-12-2009 Traders are expecting that the
  Australian government will raise interest rates.
  This is a sign of their economy strengthening
  with their currency.
