  • Point
  • Marks a location, a place in space
  • No dimensions
  • Infinitely many
  • Line
  • An infinite string of points, never ends
  • Determined by 2 points
  • Goes forever in 2 directions
  • Has one dimension -- length
  • Plane
  • A flat surface that goes forever in all
    directions
  • Contains infinitely many points and lines
  • Determined by 3 points
  • Has 2 dimensions length and width
