Greek Root Words
  • Graph means writing, recording, or written.
  • Meter means measure.
  • Phon means sound.
  • Photo means light.
  • Tele means far, distant, or complete.
  • Some words use more than one Greek root word

    the form of cylinders or discs
  • People listened to music on a phonograph in the
    1920s.
