• Material seekers are faithful only when they
  need something (bills paid, etc.)

• Some left when Jesus talked about responsibility
  and commitment
• Some selfishly seek Jesus for what they can get
  out of him but dont commit totally

  power, material, selfish
• We follow Jesus because of the teaching (Jn.
  645,63,68)
• We follow Jesus because there is no other place
  to turn (Jn. 668)
