The target group of nursing care is

• Aged 65 or more
• Suffer from several chronic diseases
• Need assistance in treatment procedures
• Unable to take care of herself or himself
• Geriatric patient, who is adult with several
  chronic coping skills
• By 2014 the old people population would be 17.

Discussion

• Access to and quality of nursing care is limited,
  because social welfare and health care systems
  are not integrated and financed from various
  sources, the state budget and health insurance's.
• To respond effectively to the needs of older
  people and people with multiple problems, need
  for better integration and better coordination of
  services.
• The Health Insurance Fund seeks to improve access
  to nursing care, so that the insured in need of
  nursing care would cope as long possible in their
  home environment.
