Student Role

• Keep track of your reading (in school and at
  home) using your bookmark.
• Challenge yourself to read more pages and for
  longer periods of time.

• Take risks as a reader and writer try new
  genres.
• Think as you read jot down your noticings.
• Be prepared to discuss your thoughts about what
  you have read.
• Listen to and question other readers noticings
  and questions give thoughtful, helpful
  responses.
