  • Today more than ever the world is only one.
    The interrelation of trends is so close that the
    mining crisis in Central Asia, the floods in
    South America or the war in Sub-Saharan Africa
    may influence our daily life. It may be because
    of a virus like Aids or a pandemic caused by
    prions water pollution or the danger of nuclear
    proliferation uncontrolled emigration or
    drug-trafficking, the fate of every man and woman
    of any race, culture or religion is
    inextricably linked to all inhabitants of the
    globe.
