NSF Funded CCITT Project links 12 Community
Colleges across the country affiliated with NASA
Research Sites. Project focused on the
integration of image processing and GIS
technology in 2-year-college curriculum. Partners
included Colleges, NASA Research Centers and
industry partners including ESRI. Grant from
Foothill-De Anza Vocational Education Office to
explore the Need for GIS Program at Foothill.
Presentation by DiLeonardo and ESRI to Foothill
Administration. Fall 2000 Alison Lenkeit Meezon,
M.S. hired to develop a GIS program within the
Geography Department at Foothill
