Grading
  • 4 ½ week progress reports only go out if there is
    a need.
  • 9 week report cards

Tardiness and Absences
  • Children should be here on time meaning before
    the bell!
  • Please send a note to excuse absence.
  • Try to schedule doctors appointments after
    school hours.
  • The more your children are in school, the more
    they will learn!

Helpful hints!
  • Read every night (Reading Log)
  • Let your kids talk about their reading (see
    handout)
  • Keep a journal.
  • Practice math facts with flashcards.

Emergency Information
  • Let the school know if any of your contact
    information changes.
  • Allergies?
  • Medication (including cough drops) must be
    brought to school by parents and kept in the
    clinic.

Testing, Testing, Testing
  • CRCT will be administered April 19-23

Safety First
  • Sign in at the front office
  • Sit at the guest table when eating lunch with
    your child.
  • Your children should know how they are getting
    home each day.
  • Students cannot return to classroom after 245
    P.M.

Our Rules
  • Keep hands, feet and other objects to yourself.
  • Follow directions the first time they are given.
  • Raise your hand and wait for permission to speak.
  • Stay in your seat unless you have permission to
    do otherwise.
  • Use nice language and respectful behavior only.

Rewards and Recognition
  • Tickets when students are caught doing something
    great!
  • Tickets when the class receives a compliment.
  • Prize Box-Donations for prize box are always
    needed. Items valued at 2.00 or less are
    appreciated.

Birthday Parties
  • Celebrations are always welcomed!
  • Please let us know at least two days ahead of
    time.
  • Finger foods and juice boxes are very easy to
    serve.
  • Please provide necessary utensils to serve the
    food.
  • No invitations at school.
