    realistic fiction, nonfiction, fantasy,
    historical fiction, poetry, plays, biographies,

5th Grade End of the Year Trip
  • When Friday, May 6, 2010
  • 700 a.m.-600 p.m. (extended day)
  • Where Ruby Falls, The Southern Belle River
    Boat, and the TN Aquarium
  • How Much 65 Due by October 22
  • Transportation by Chartered Buses

Homework
  • Homework is assigned daily to reinforce and
    extend classroom instruction.
  • 5th graders are responsible for recording all
    homework in their agenda getting their agenda
    signed by a parent daily.
  • Study hall will be provided for students with
    incomplete homework/class work.

Class Behavior Plan
  • Students earn tickets throughout the day for
    positive behavior and/or work habits.
  • Students can trade in tickets for special rewards
    privileges.
  • Students may also lose tickets for failure to
    follow class rules, procedures, or missing
    assignments.

  • April - CRCT (5th Graders must pass both
    reading and math sections to be promoted to
    6th grade.)
