Orientation

• Research shows that students who participate in
  college orientation are more successful
• New students who attended orientation acquire
  skills and attitudes that have a positive affect
  on retention and academic progress (Shoemaker,
  1995).

Orientation Quiz

• Used to release hold in system to allow for
  registration
• Must receive a minimum score of 7 out of 10 to
  release registration hold
• Can repeat the orientation
