• Runway Orientation????
• Fixed-wing aircraft rely on airflow over the
  aircrafts wings to achieve the flight. the
  appropriate direction to take off an aircraft is
  into which way the wind is blowing.
• As a result of this physical property of
  aircraft, airport runways are typically oriented
  to the prevailing winds of the area. The runways
  that are oriented into the prevailing winds are
  called Primary Runways.
• The runways that are oriented into the common
  crossed winds are called Secondary Runways for
  lighter aircraft to use under cross-wind
  condition.

• Runway Identification????
• Runways are in fact defined by their orientation
  with respect to their degrees from magnetic
  north, divided by 10, rounded to the nearest
  integer.Ex a runway oriented to northeast which
  is 022 degrees to the magnetic north, it would be
  identified as runway 02. To the other side of the
  runway, it is identified as runway 20.
