Scientific Definition

• An applied science of equipment design as for
  the workplace, intended to maximize productivity
  by reducing operator fatigue and discomfort.

Classroom Problems

• Chairs if the chairs are uncomfortable then
  students are not going to be able to focus
  completely on the lesson being taught by the
  instructor. The hard back chairs are very
  uncomfortable and do not support very well.
• Desks Some desks are too small and do not always
  accommodate the needs of students. (ex taking
  notes)

Computer Labs

• Most computer labs on campus are already very
  well set up ergonomically. Being that the chairs
  are very comfortable and the computers are in the
  direct line of your vision.
• Chairs can also be adjusted to a person comfort.
