40Finally, at what stage of World War I do you
think this poster was created? Does it look
like a great motivator? Why or why not?
41World War I and World War II were the golden age
of War Posters. These posters, in their original
condition, are now very valuable.
42The posters were meant to sway opinions,
motivate soldiers to enlist, and encourage
civilians to help with the war effort.
43Propaganda posters do not have a place in our
society anymore. There is more information, and
we can easily decide for ourselves what to
believe.
