• Objectives
• Use nets to form 3 dimensional figures and to
  find the surface area of the figure.

Tools needed

• 1. Net of different figure.
• 2. scissors
• 3. rulers
• 4. glue stick

Method

• Cut the net out.
• Fold in all the extra sections.
• Trace the net into your notebook as classwork.
• Fill in all the line segments using a ruler.
• Measure all the side lengths and its heights.
• Find the area of each rectangle/ triangle/circle.
• Add them up to find the Total Area / Surface Area
• Fold along all the line segments.
• Apply glue and paste to form three dimensional
  figures.
