    applications for import/export licenses and
    permits and receive clearance from government
    agencies without replication of data entry

    a single submission

    Prototype is done for Film Classification board
    (FCB) and Ministry of Industry, Commerce
    Consumer Protection (MICCP)
  • Business Process Re-engineering. Proposals are
    under review especially for MICCP

    between permit issuing agencies

  • What do I require to use TradeLink?
  • Workstation with Internet connection
  • Scanner (pdf format)
  • Register with TradeLink Single Submission of
    business information and upload common documents
  • Do we still have to apply for permit for control
    goods?
  • Yes, but the government has reduced the no. of
    controlled items. Moreover the application of
    permit will be done fully electronically
  • Do we still have to go at different agencies to
    submit documents and make payments?
  • No, it will be single submission of documents
    through TradeLink which will be delivered to all
    concerning agencies at one time. For payment, it
    will be done electronically

  • Can I check and track status of the permit?
  • Yes, online tracking functionalities will be
    available as you log in to the system
  • Do I need agency clearance on goods arrival?
  • Yes for the time being but the intention is to
    integrate with Customs clearance in collaboration
    with the leading agency. A fast track mechanism
    will be in place.
