Winter Fishing! No Problem! The Answer is

2
The Problem
  • From the second you drill an ice-fishing hole
mother nature starts to freeze it shut again
  • Ice constantly forms on fishing lines, rod
eyelets and reels as you jig or retrieve line
  • Ice holes must constantly be maintained by
scooping the new forming ice out .This is
required to keeps lines from freezing in.They
must be moving freely in order to detect bites
    and reel in fish.

3
The Problem-2
  • Ice must be regularly removed from lines, rod
eyelets and reels so they function properly
  • --------------------------------------------------
    --------
  • Fishing in heated shacks although being a
partial solution, limits the opportunity to
spread your lines out , move around and find
more fish. Many anglers fishing from heated huts
dont make use of a second outside line because
of the hole maintenance hassle.Thats about to
    change

4
The Solution
  • We allow the Ice Stopper to freeze into
new-forming ice in the ice fishing hole.
  • The line goes from the frigid surface air to
below the water surface by passing thru the Ice
    Stopper
  • The Ice Stopper is filled with an environmentally
friendly non-freezing solution so the line always
has free un-obstructed passage through the ice.
  • Breaking the newly formed ice is only necessary
to remove a fish or change a bait .

5
What it looks like
  • Ice Stopper comes in a kit with everything you
need to set up 2-complete ice fishing rods
  • The kit comes with enough solution for several
    days of fishing
  • Solution refills are available

6
What it looks like assembled
  • Line Passes through the
  • Ice Stopper just like a slip bobber.
  • The hollow Ice Stopper floats in the hole and
    contains a non-freezing solution.
  • The solution prevents lines from icing up or
getting frozen in new forming ice.
  • Once assembled on your line leave Ice Stopper
    attached there all season

7
How It works
  • The Ice Stopper floats in the ice-fishing hole
  • The Ice Stop solution (Dark Blue) will stay in
the container because of the outside water
    pressure.
  • Precisely engineered top and bottom holes limits
the lake water from entering and mixing with the
    solution
  • The line passes through freely with no drag of
    any kind

8
How It works
  • The hollow bobber like Ice Stopper contains a
non-freezing solution that the line passes
    through.
  • The line above the water surface always has a
film of Ice Stop solution on it therefore
    eliminating any freezing potential

9
How It works
10
How It Works
  • As the Ice Stopper freezes in the newly forming
ice. The line still passes through the unit
    freely.
  • Even after several hours you will be able to
    detect the smallest nibble.The regular
maintenance of scooping ice from you hole is no
    longer necessary.

11
Eliminates line eyelet icing
  • Water is never on your line when exposed to the
surface air. Only a film of Ice Stop solution
remains on line above water level and it doesnt
freeze. This is how we eliminate the icing on your
    lines and eyelets
  • Use the solution on your reel spool to lubricate
and remove snow or ice crystals from your line
if you accidentally drop your rod in the snow .

12
Opening the Ice Stopper
  • With Ice Stopper in one hand, moderate side-ward
pressure will snap open the top cap.
  • Use tip of thumb to apply pressure at the base
of top stem. This will snap open top.
  • Pulling straight apart is awkward and difficult.

13
How it works
  • The white portion has an air chamber in it that
allows it to float in the hole
  • The red portion of the hollow Ice Stopper is
filled with the Ice Stop solution.
  • The black rubber stop prevents solution from
leaking out when its not sitting in sitting in
    the water

14
Rubber Line Stop
  • When not in the water the Ice Stopper slides
down your line and comes to rest at the rubber
    stop.
  • A rubber stop must be placed on your line between
the bait and your Ice Stopper. A black rubber
stop ,visible in the photo -- prevents solution
    from leaking out

15
Insert Plugs
  • Use insert plugs when constantly jigging to
    maximize solution performance.
  • Insert plugs are used to strip excess Ice Stop
solution from line before line exits top of Ice
    Stopper.
  • 2-Insert plugs with different hole diameters
allow fine tuning with different line sizes.

16
How to assemble
  • Push insert plug into top cap
  • Fill reservoir level to the top with Ice Stop
    solution
  • Snap top cap onto reservoir
  • You are now ready to fish!

17
Other functions
  • Shown suspending
  • ¼ oz. jig
  • Add a second rubber stop on the line above
the Ice Stopper . This allows for use as a slip
bobber to suspend a bait at an exact depth.

18
Benefits to Fishermen in huts
  • Spread out your fishing area. View a second line
    from your heated hut.
  • No need to go outside and maintain the hole
    unless you have a bite
  • See all your bites as the line wont freeze in
  • Suspend bait at set depth with use of a second
bobber stop when using it in a hut.

19
Put away your tip-ups
  • FUN! Use a rod reel. More exciting than hand
lining fish caught on a tip-up
  • No line tangled line mess on the ice after
    hand-lining in a tip-up.
  • MORE EFFECTIVE Presentation! Allows you to
conveniently jig your hook. Keep your baits
    moving and active.
  • CONVENIENT! Simple design dont even know its on
    your line.
