  • On Page 21/22 (Salt Water Evaporation Lab) record
    the following statement under the heading,
    DATA.
  • Over the weekend, approximately ¼ inch of the
    salt water evaporated and was deposited into the
    glass. The water deposited into the cup was
    cool, fresh water (no saltiness when tasting).

Seating
  • For this class you will have two assigned seats.
    One for individual seating (rows) and one for
    collaborative activities (groups)
  • Sometimes we will need to switch from rows to
    groups and back again. This is one of those
    days.
  • You may not be near your group, so it will
    require that you switch seats.

Quiz
  • Talking will result in a zero quiz grade.
  • You may write on the quiz
  • You have 20 minutes to complete the quiz.

Water Cycle Collages/Drawings
  • Your Collage needs to include
  • All of the stages of the Water Cycle we have
    talked about
  • Condensation, Precipitation, Infiltration/Runoff,
    Evaporation, Transpiration
  • These should be clearly labeled on the Collage
  • Your team member names
  • A title
  • Arrows depicting the movement of water
  • Illustrations
  • You should utilize images from the provided
    magazines as well as any drawings you would like
    to include.

Salt Water Evaporation Lab Write Up
  • You will use the laminated lab write up sheet to
    compose a 3 paragraph lab write up.
  • Follow the questions/prompts provided.
  • Remember this will be peer edited, so showcase
    your best writing skills!!!
  • If you do not finish, you must complete this for
    homework. Only students with completed lab
    reports will be allowed to participate in
    computer lab activity tomorrow.
