  • The new Wildlife Conservation Act enforced in
    2011
  • Poaching of tiger max US166,000 and 5 years
    imprisonment
  • MIST based enforcement being implemented at
    Taman Negara NP and Endau Rompin NP by DWNP with
    the assistance of WCS, WWF MYCAT
  • MIST based patrol and 1NRE interagency patrols
    to be expanded at 3 priority tiger habitats in
    2014-15
  • Additional staffing for DWNP in 2014 for law
    enforcement and Tiger Unit

    tiger survey in 2014-15
