7Grading Students progress will be monitored
using the following scale Level 3 Exceeds
Standards-In addition to the 3, makes
applications and inferences beyond
expectations. Level 3 Meets standards Consistentl
y and independently Level 2 Progressing The
student is making progress toward meeting the
standard. Level 1 Limited progress or does not
meet standards. Please review your childs
work that is sent home each week. Report cards
will be sent home at the end of every 9
weeks. Progress reports will only be sent home
(at 4 1/2 weeks) for students who are showing
limited or minimum progress toward meeting the
standard. Informal Grading Students will
complete many assignments that are not assessed
for a formal grade. These assignments are done
for practice in preparation for the formal
grading. A check plus on an assignment means that
the student was able to complete the assignment
independently and with few mistakes. A check mark
means that the student needs to review the work
at home. A check minus means the student needs
additional assistance to master the standard.

- Tardies/Absences
- School begins at 750
- Excessive tardies will result in a call from the
county office. At 5 tardies the county will call - Parents will be notified at 3, 7, and 10 absences
- Change of Transportation
- Written Notification Prior to 130
- No check-outs after 130
- Lunch with your child picnic tables (your child
only) - Prices 2.15 lunch and 3.15 parent lunch
- Special Schedule-7 day rotation
