Proverbs 176
6 Childrens children are a crown to the aged,
and parents are the pride of their children.
Proverbs 2322-25
22 Listen to your father, who gave you life, and
do not despise your mother when she is
old.23 Buy the truth and do not sell it get
wisdom, discipline and understanding.24 The
father of a righteous man has great joy he
who has a wise son delights in him.25 May your
father and mother be glad may she who gave
you birth rejoice!

Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this
is right. Honor your father and mother - which
is the first commandment with a promise that
it may go well with you and that you may enjoy
long life on the earth. Fathers, do not
exasperate your children instead, bring them up
in the training and instruction of the Lord.
