HDM-942 is a 4-by-2 DVI/HDMI matrix with 4Kx2K.
It allows any source (Blue-ray player, HD DVD
player, satellite receiver, game system, etc.) to
be shown on the any of the two displays
simultaneously, no matter the source is HDCP or
not. Extra infrared receiver port is supplied for
remote control. It offers solutions for digital
entertainment center, HDTV retail and show site,
HDTV, STB, DVD and projector factory, noise,
space and security concerns, data center control,
information distribution, conference room
presentation, school and corporate training
environments, etc.

EDID Extended Display Identification Data EDID
is a VESA standard data format that contains
basic information about a monitor and its
capabilities, including vendor information,
maximum image size, color characteristics,
factory pre-set timings, frequency range limits,
and character strings for the monitor name and
serial number. Generally speaking If one day you
add some unknown nonstandard source equipment,
you also don't have to worry about the
compatibility of the matrix. This function can be
read automatically your input device parameters,
and then tell matrix output terminal equipment
input of many various parameters. It makes
output automatically choose suitable input
parameters to the output. And this has been
achieved by Infrared remote control.
