What do I have to do to get this money?

• Be at least at junior status
• Double-major in science or mathematics and
  education
• Minimum 2.75 GPA
• Apply by February 15

After I graduate

• Agree to teach in a high-needs Kansas school for
  2 years for each year I receive the grant

Why would I want to teach?

• The demand for math and science teachers is great
• Breaks, summers, flexible schedules
• Think of a great math or science teacher. You
  could become the next Bill Nye, the Science Guy!

Im not sure if teaching is right for me

• You can work for 6 weeks in the summer helping
  teach during the various Science and Math camps,
  Sternberg Museum, Kansas Wetlands Center, etc.
• You will be paid 2,400 for the 6 weeks.
