receives its own Product Line number and
extension. See example below

Aluminum Operable Casement Wood Operable Fixe
d Window Vinyl Fixed  Product Types can not
be mixed in the CCL listing  -H-1234.00 This

could be for a smaller than Gateway size

Product Line Like products of the same operator
with possibly different reports and DP rating but
common drawings or substantially common drawings
(meaning the main structural members are
identical). If product is retested due to 4-year

- Evaluation (PE) vs- Certification Method
- 3 paths to Florida Approval
- Certification
- Evaluation
- Test Report
- Most efficient can be certification method
utilizing Hallmark Certification - Quality Assurance System
- Extended term of certification will be
beneficial
17 Florida Building Code
- Certification Path Method 1 Option A No QA
certificate needed - Based on the CCL configurations and options it
allows, and its expiration date - When the CCL expires, the FLPA expires may or
may not coincide with the 3-year Florida Building
Code (FBC) cycle - The manufacturer may make their own installation
instructions provided that they are strictly
as-tested so they are limited to tested
substrates (wood/conc./metal) and anchors - This path also allows for installation
instructions with other substrates, provided that
they are signed by a third-party - Certification uploads Validated by third-party.
If installation instructions were approved by a
third party then validation is Administrative, if
not then validation is Technical requiring same
calculations and review as an Evaluation Report
18 Florida Building Code
