    was a famous Greek writer.

Elements Usually found in Greek Myths
  1. Myths may have been written to explain a natural
    phenomena, such as why the sun rises, etc.
  2. They usually contain good and evil royalty, such
    as kings, princesses, etc.
  3. It is common for sons to be raised by someone
    other than their parents.
  4. Myths contain imaginative creatures, people, and
    animals displaying unusual qualities.

    hero or move the plot along.
  2. The gods play a significant role in helping or
