What is Rotary Rotary is a worldwide
organization of more than 1.2 million business,
professional, and community leaders. Rotarians,
provide humanitarian service, encourage high
ethical standards in all vocations, and help
build goodwill and peace in the world. There are
over 32,000 Rotary clubs in more than 200
countries and geographical areas. Clubs are
nonpolitical, nonreligious, and open to all
cultures, races, and creeds. As signified by

Rotarys main objective is service in the
community, in the workplace, and throughout the
world.

Founded in 1906, The Mississauga Golf and
Country Club is one of the oldest and most
prestigious golf clubs in Canada. Every Rotary
Lunch is a special event with fantastic food and
excellent service!

• Originally known as the Rotary Club of
  Cooksville, our club was granted its charter by
  Rotary International on April 23rd, 1954
• Community Services
• Each year we donate funds to support local
  Mississauga charities in projects and programs
  that make a real difference in the lives of
  Mississauga Residents.
• The Rotary Club of Mississauga Foundation
• Our Foundation was established in 2001 as a
  vehicle for an upcoming major project in the
  Mississauga community
• Rotary International
• Through Rotary International, our donations
  support the worldwide activities of Rotary in
• programs such
• as Polio Plus, a
• United Nations

• Associate Membership
• Our club offers both the fellowship of being part
  of a fun group, and the benefit of being able to
  give back to the community.
• Both of these involve the commitment of your time
  and your talent and we know this kind of decision
  is best made when you fully understand what you
  will be required to do, and what you will receive
  in return.
• Our Associate Membership Program has been
  designed with this in mind. Here's what's
  you'll be committing to for a one-year timeframe
  as an Associate Member of the Rotary Club of
  Mississauga
• Attend at least twelve meetings at our club over
  the course of the year.
• Participate in one fundraising event
• We will send you our Bulletin so you will be up
  to date with all of our events. We would
  welcome you to attend more lunch meetings and
  fundraisers as your schedule permits. You will
  also be welcome to such fun events as our
