    actions ?

SELF-ESTEEM
22
SELF ESTEEM
  • People believe that thinking well of themselves
is equivalent to boasting and big-headedness.
This is why children are often taught to behave
better and work harder by having their faults
emphasized, rather than by having their successes
praised. Parents and teacher may spend their time
pointing out what children have done wrong,
instead of helping them to build on what they
    have done right.

23
  • Individuals with High Self- Esteem
  • They like to meet new people.
  • They dont worry about how others will judge
    them.
  • They have the courage to express themselves.
  • Their lives are enriched with each new encounter.
  • They are nicer to be around.
  • Their ideas are met with interest because others
want to hear what they have to say.
  • They are magnets to positive opportunities!

24
and with Low Self Esteem will -
  • Avoid trying new things
  • Feel unloved unwanted
  • Blame others for own shortcomings
  • Be unable to tolerate a normal level of
    frustration
  • Put down their own talents abilities
  • Be easily influenced
