• It was discovered by Julius Ceaser Scaliger
• Men called conquistadors found grains of unknown
  metal
• They found out Platinum was very expensive and
  rare
• Thats how Platinum became a metal that everybody
  wanted
• Was also found in South Africa and Russia

• Platinum is and was used a lot in America
• Compounds of Platinum are used to treat cancer
• Also, it was used in 1400 BC for decorations to
  the Egyptians, and widely in South America
• Platinum, palladium and rhodium produced are used
  in vehicle emission technology
• Platinum is used in glassmaking equipment
• Investing in platinum may be done in the future
