though while at SPU, all students will explore
the Christian Faith through curricular and
co-curricular programs

5What is CFE?
- SPU is committed to provide students with
opportunities to explore the meaning of the
Christian faith and its implications for life,
academic disciplines and society
--- Christian Faith Exploration. - CFE is a required co-curricular program
integrating discussion, reflection and community
service that each student self-designs.
6Giving all students the opportunity to explore
the meaning and implications of the Christian
faith for life, society and the world
7Whats the Requirement?
- Each quarter, full-time undergraduate students
complete - 5 hours of community service
- 2 Campus-wide Community Convocations or Lectures
- 8 other campus-based CFE events
- Students with special circumstances can petition
each quarter for a reduction in the requirement. - With over 50 activities weekly to choose from,
students self-design their own Faith Exploration
program.
8- By the end of the quarter, each student
self-reports on the activities in which they
participated. - General reflections on the quarters activities
- Specific observations on two Community Events
- These reflections are reviewed by the OCM staff,
and registration for courses depends on
successfully fulfilling the requirement
