Community Reference Groups

• Bring together range of community interests
  across existing groups
• Panel of local residents reflecting geographical
  and population mix within the area
• Assist range of community interests to come
  together, understand shared and differing needs
  and priorities to support quality community input
  to LCPP Boards and community planning processes

• Developing strategic priorities linked to the
  five themes in consultation with the community
• Scrutinising the implementation of these
  priorities
• Coordinating and embedding community engagement
  within these processes
• Ensuring locally targeted regeneration
• Making decisions on funding allocations locally

Area Co-ordination Group

• Support Local CPPs in the development of strategy
  and priorities based on themes of Community Plan
• Provide the Local CPPs with regular progress
  reports on the development and implementation of
  strategy and priorities
• Offer strategic direction on the themes assess
  fit with city wide and links with Theme Champions
• Inform the local CPP structures of any service
  changes by partners
• Encourage partnership working through commitment
  at a local level

  its priorities within Glasgows Single Outcome
  Agreement
• Contract between CPP partners and Scottish
  Government
• Sets out key priorities for the city within the
  context of the Governments National Outcome
  Framework

What is the Single Outcome Agreement ?

• Lists 18 priorities that require to be addressed
  across Glasgow
• Based on the five community planning themes
• Links these priorities to the 23 agreed outcomes
  that will be achieved by working collectively

• Obesity in children and adults
• Alcohol consumption and alcohol related harm
• Inequalities in health, particularly those caused
  by childhood poverty
• Smoking
• Drug addictions

• Increase the proportion of the population with a
  healthy BMI
• Increase the proportion of residents involved in
  physical activity
• Improve childrens diets
• Reduce the difference in life expectancy between
  the most affluent and most disadvantaged residents

Delivering Change

• At a local level each LCPP is developing a Local
  Investment Plan
• Will set out own priorities whilst demonstrating
  a link to those set at city level and through
  this the national framework
• Have agreed the key priorities for the South West
  creating links between the two LCPP areas
