Summary
  • When Lou Gehrig left college to play
    baseball with the Yankees, his mother thought he
    had ruined his life.  Little did she know that he
    would go on to play in 2,130 straight games.  He
    played the game so well that twice he was named
    the American League's Most Valuable Player.  Then
    Lou Gehrig found out he had a fatal illness.  In

    the "luckiest man."  The Yankees
