Background
  • Jehoram was the 5th king of Judah, c. 853-841
    B.C. (2 K. 816-24 2 Chron. 211-20)
    and Ahaziah was the 6th king of Judah, 841 B.C
    (2 K. 825-29 914-29 2
    Chron. 221-9)
  • These two men had similar statements made about
    them for he had the daughter of Ahab to wife
    (2 Kings 818) and for he was the
    son-in-law of the house of Ahab (2 Kings 827)
  • What can we learn from Jehoram and Ahaziah? We
    learn how easily one can be pressured and
    persuaded to do evil from outside (close)
    influences.
