- Because He is not the Messiah of our imagination
Acts 1730-31 30 The times of ignorance God
overlooked, but now he commands all people
everywhere to repent, 31 because he has fixed a
day on which he will judge the world in
righteousness by a man whom he has appointed and
of this he has given assurance to all by raising
him from the dead.
He will judge the final division.

mercies of God, to present your bodies as a
living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God,

- 10 For it was fitting that he, for whom and by
whom all things exist, in bringing many sons to
glory, should make the founder of their salvation
perfect through suffering. 11 For he who
sanctifies and those who are sanctified all have
one source. That is why he is not ashamed to call
them brothers, 12 saying,I will tell of your
name to my brothers In the midst of the
congregation I will sing your praise.13 And
again,I will put my trust in him.And
again,Behold, I and the children God has given
me.

saints, this grace was given, to preach to the
Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ, 9 and
to bring to light for everyone what is the plan
of the mystery hidden for ages in God who created
all things, 10 so that through the church the
manifold wisdom of God might now be made known to
the rulers and authorities in the heavenly
places. 11 This was according to the eternal
purpose that he has realized in Christ Jesus our
Lord,
