T.C.B.
  • Taking Care of Business

3
1 Timothy 511-15
  • But refuse to enroll younger widows, they learn
to be idlers, going about from house to house,
and not only idlers, but also gossips
and busybodies, saying what they should not. So I
would have younger widows marry, bear
children, manage their households, and give the
adversary no occasion for slander. For some have
    already strayed after Satan.

4
1 Thessalonians 411
  • and to make it your ambition to lead a quiet
life and attend to your own business and work
with your hands, just as we commanded you

5
2 Thessalonians 310-12
  • For we hear that some among you are leading an
undisciplined life, doing no work at all, but
acting like busybodies. Now such persons we
command and exhort in the Lord Jesus Christ to
work in quiet fashion and eat their own bread.

6
What Is Involved In Minding Our Own Business??
  • Our business with God

7
John 94
  • We must work the works of Him who sent Me, as
long as it is day night is coming, when no man
    can work.

8
Luke 2219
  • And when he had taken some bread and given
thanks, He broke it, and gave it to them saying,
this is my body which is given for you, do this
    in remembrance of me.

9
Matthew 2629
  • I will not drink of this fruit of the vine from
now on until that day when I drink it new with
    you in My Fathers kingdom.

10
Hebrews 1026
  • For if we go on sinning willfully after receiving
the knowledge of the truth, there no longer
    remains a sacrifice for sins.

11
Hebrews 1028-29
  • Anyone who has set aside the Law of Moses dies
without mercy on the testimony of two or three
witnesses. How much severer punishment do you
think he will deserve who has trampled under foot
the Son of God, and has regarded as unclean the
blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified,
and has insulted the Spirit of grace?

13
1 John 311-12
  • we should love one another not as Cain, who was
of the evil one, and slew his brother. And for
what reason did he slay him? Because his deeds
were evil, and his brothers were righteous.

14
Philippians 212-15
  • Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed,
so now, not only as in my presence but much more
in my absence, work out your own salvation with
fear and trembling, for it is God who works in
you, both to will and to work for his good
    pleasure.
  • Do all things without grumbling
or disputing, that you may be blameless and
innocent, children of God without blemish

15
2 Peter 15-8
  • For this very reason, make every effort to
supplement your faith with virtue, and
virtue with knowledge, and knowledge with
    self-control, and self-control with
    steadfastness, and steadfastness with
    godliness, and godliness with brotherly
affection, and brotherly affection with love. For
if these qualities are yours and are increasing,
they keep you from being ineffective
or unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus
    Christ.

the truth for a sincere brotherly love, love one
another earnestly from a pure heart, since you
have been born again, not of perishable seed but
of imperishable, through the living and abiding

  • As for the rich in this present age, charge
them not to be haughty, nor to set their hopes
on the uncertainty of riches, but on God, who
richly provides us with everything to enjoy. They
are to do good, to be rich in good works, to be
    generous and ready to share,
