Big Toy New Big Toy Rules

• No RUNNING OR TAG on the toys or in the barked
  areas. ALL running games MUST be on the field!
• All games are NO CONTACT.
• Be courteous. If others are waiting to get on a
  toy, please limit your time to two minutes.

Slides
We only go down the slide, not up the slide.
No jumping off the slides.
Go down the slide feet first on your bottom.
Only ONE person on the slide at a time.

Spool Spinner

• DO
• Stand or sit and spin by yourself ONE person at
  a time
• DONT
• Spin or push others

Umbrella Spinner

• DO
• Use the umbrella spinner with six students max
• DONT
• Lift others onto it
• Spin, or push others, run, or jump onto it
• Hang, climb, or stand in the center
• Stack wood chips to reach the spinner
• Sit on top of the spinner

Oval Spinner

• DO
• Spin by yourself - ONE student at a time
• Stand only on the bottom bar and sit on the
  center bar
• DONT
• Spin or push others

Zigzag Ladder

• DO
• Have fun on the zigzag ladder and build balancing
  skills
• DONT
• Jump off. You could get hurt!

Mushrooms Rings

• DO
• Use your hands
• Swing across only
• DONT
• Jump from the mushrooms to the rings
• Climb through the rings
• Hang upside down

The Rock Wall

• DO
• Climb safely

• Jump off the top of the rock wall
• Push others off the rock wall

The X-Wave

• Do enjoy standing or sitting on the x-wave.
• Do keep your hands to yourself when you are
  playing on the X-Wave.

• Do not jump off of the X-Wave
• Do not push people off of the X-wave

The Lower Playground

• DO
• WALK on all Black Top areas.
• Use balls for Four Square and Wall Ball
• DONT
• Kick any balls on the lower playground.

Blacktop Games

• DO
• Play Wall Ball, Foursquare, and Tetherball.
• Follow the rules posted on the windows opposite
  the tetherball area

Gate 4 This is the only gate used

• DO
• Exit through this gate and use the walkway.
• DONT
• Stand, sit, or play on the rails by this gate.
• Run down the dirt hill between the fence and the
  stairs.

Find a supervisor immediately if

• you or another student is injured.
• you are being bullied or harassed or if you
  witness this behavior.
• you see unsafe behavior.

Ask a Supervisor if

• you need to enter the building for any reason.
  (Bathroom, water fountain, office, health room)
  YOU MUST HAVE A PASS
• your ball goes over the fence, we will unlock a
  gate to retrieve it.

When the Whistle Blows

• At the end of recess, an on-duty supervisor will
  blow one whistle.
• When the whistle blows, go line up immediately.
• When the second whistle blows you should be in
  your line ready to go back to class.

Emergency Whistle

• When the whistle blows 3 times stop talking and
  listen to adult directions.
