What is a satellite ?
Satellite is any object that orbits or revolves
around another object (For example the moon is
a satellite of earth,and earth is a satellite of
a sun)

What is GMPCS ?

• Defined by the International Telecommunications
  Union (ITU) as, 'any satellite system (i.e.,
  fixed (FSS) or mobile (MSS), global or regional,
  geo-stationary or non-geo-stationary, existing or
  planned) providing telecommunications services
  directly to the end-users from a constellation of
  satellites
