    (reduced use of plant protection agents).
  • Reduced water requirement (increased drought
    tolerance in dry periods).
  • Slower maturation and better taste (enhanced
    quality).
  • Longer, thicker and straighter banana fruits
    with higher distances between the fruit rows
    (increased quantity)
