More Enhancements for Tempo

• HAR is pleased to announce further enhancements
  for members using Tempo
• Beginning on Tuesday, October 29, Tempo will
  begin supporting Safari, Firefox and Chrome on PC
  and Mac.
• Mac users can access Tempo directly from Safari
  or browser of choice. Citrix is no longer needed,
  and theres no more waiting for photos to load.
• Coming soon Tempo will also work on the iPad
  Safari browser.

Realist Tax System Scheduled to Replace Stewart
Tax

• Realist is expected to be available to users this
  December.
• The Stewart Tax system will be available
  alongside Realist into early 2014.
• Realist will be accessible in both Tempo and
  Fusion and is compatible with your browser of
  choice.
• Access to tax information for all counties in
  Texas.
• Free MCE-accredited training classes for Realist
  will be provided by HAR beginning in December.

Mobile Technology in Real Estate

• The HAR.com Consumer Research Panel has just
  completed a comprehensive survey about the use of
  mobile technology in real estate. This latest
  research and earlier surveys are available online
  at http//www.har.com/consumerresearch/.

Weekly HAR Market Stat

• Nationally, we are starting to see some of the
  impact of the government shutdown on the housing
  market. Applications for government mortgage
  products dropped to the lowest level since 2007,
  according to the Mortgage Banker's Association.
  This was while overall applications were up
  marginally. Most FHA lenders were able to process
  loans while Veterans Administration loans were
  slowed considerably and USDA Rural Development
  financing was cut off entirely. That said, there
  was still plenty of activity locally, much of it
  positive.
• In the Houston region, for the week ending
  October 20
• New Listings decreased 2.1 to 1,841
• Pending Sales increased 20.9 to 1,577
• Closed Sales decreased 4.1 to 1,252
