  A Great and Wondrous Sign"
  appears in Heaven- of what?
• 1. Of the Spiritual Nature of Satan's hatred for
  Israel and the Church (THE TWO WITNESSES!)
• 2. Of the general "history" of Satan and his use
  of the "world system" to "pursue" the people of
  God
• 3. Of HOW and WHY - the antichrist will
  eventually come to power - culminating in a "man
  with the Spirit of Satan himself" (THE
  ANTICHRIST) - The opposite of Jesus - (Jesus was
  A man - yet who was also God himself) - The
  antichrist will be Satan's "Jesus"
• Chapter 12 serves to "set up" CHAPTER 13 - the
  Introduction of the anti-Christ.

• The 7 major elements of the Great
  and Wondrous Sign
• The woman clothed with the sun and the moon under
  her feet.
• A crown of 12 stars on her head.
• She gives "birth" to a male child who will rule
  the world with an iron scepter - (Psalm 27-9)
• The woman can only be ISRAEL!
• The 12 stars the 12 tribes and the 12 disciples
  
• (Israel and the Church - the 24 elders - the Two
  Witnesses)

• The WOMANS identity is clearly revealed in
  scripture.
• Gen 379-11 Then he Joseph dreamed still
  another dream and told it to his brothers, and
  said, "Look, I have dreamed another dream. And
  this time, the sun, the moon, and the eleven
  stars bowed down to me." So he told it to his
  father (JacobISRAEL) and his brothers and his
  father rebuked him and said to him, "What is this
  dream that you have dreamed? Shall your mother
  and I and your brothers indeed come to bow down
  to the earth before you?" And his brothers envied
  him, but his father kept the matter in mind.

• 2. An enormous Red Dragon - swept 1/3 of the
  "stars" of heaven down to the earth with him.
  (See verses 7-9)
• This is Satan and his demonic host that were
  expelled from heaven in his rebellion against the
  LORD. (REVELATION Chapters 129 and 131-4
  identifies the Dragon as Satan)
• The dragon tried to devour or kill the
• child of the woman - even beginning
• at birth! (King Herod, The Jewish religious
• system all of His ministry - and finally
• the Cross )
• (Satan thought it was his victory!)

• 3. After the resurrection - and ever since - The
  Dragon has "pursued" the "woman" and "her
  offspring" Which areISRAEL (Spiritual and
  National) and the CHURCH (the two witnesses!)

• 4. The Dragon even launched an all out attack
  against the Jews (like a river spewing out of his
  mouth) in the holocaust through his mini-
  antichrist HITLER.
• Over 6 million Jews were slaughtered in the Nazi
  camps and ovens. Satan tried to "sweep the Jews
  away in the torrent!"
• The Muslim and Arab world has since, particularly
  through the PLO and Yassar Arafat, tried to
  continue to "sweep them away in a torrent".
• In 1948, one day after Israel claimed its
  independence, she was attacked by 7 Arab nations
  who were determined to "push her into the sea."
  Within months, Israel had defeated all her
  attackers!

• 5. But the EARTH (WWII - Trumpets one and two!)
• Most of the nations of the EARTH were involved to
  
• one degree or another in WWII
• the final outcome was that it "helped the
  woman"

• 6. AND...the woman was given the "two wings of A
  GREAT EAGLE" - so that she might be carried away
  and protected for a time set by GOD.

  THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA
• 
  THE Two wings of a Great Eagle
• The seal is called the GREAT seal of the United
  States. It has been so since its inception.
• Note in its right talon the eagle is holding an
  Olive Branch - the universal symbol for peace and
  the Universal Biblical symbol for ISRAEL! Note
  that the Eagle is facing the Olive Branch.
  Seal-1782 Israel -1948
• Note 13 arrows in its left talon
• Note 13 stars in the crest (Crown) above its
  head - ISRAEL - the WOMAN had a crown with 12
  stars!

  "making war" with the rest of her (Israel's)
  "offspring" - "Those who hold to the testimony of
  JESUS!" - Christians and THE CHURCH! US!

1980s because of continual clashes with the
Jordanian Government, authorities, police and
military. They were militant thugs in Jordan
and they are militant thugs today! Their leader
then was a man named YASSIR ARAFAT. The same
one, who for decades, has tormented Israel and
and some how gains the ear of the rest of the
World. He is the one who established the PLO as
a result of being kicked out of Jordan! Most
of the world wants him recognized as a legitimate
government authority with whom to hold peace

  woman and her offspring (The United States and
  Biblical Christianity!)
