- When you install a new program, typically it is
added to the Programs or All programs menu. To
start the program, click its name on the Programs
or All programs menu. - Some programs/files are represented as icons on
the Windows desktop. A double click on the icon
will launch the application - To exit a program click Close button of the
program window

6How to switch between application windows?
- If more than one programs are running at the same
time then only one program will be active and its
window will be to the front of the desktop. - User can switch between the programs by clicking
a button on the taskbar with the name of the
desired program. You can also press keys ALT
TAB repeatedly to do the same. You can also click
any visible part of hidden window to make it
active. - If a program window is minimized, clicking the
programs button on the taskbar restores the
window to its previous size and location.
