• Automatically generates learner positions per

• Allows for the test results to be locked-out, to
  prevent any alteration of the test-scores

A Test-Record based on an Equation

• The School Assistant allows you to create a
  test-record whose test marks are computed based
  on a user-defined algebraic equation,
• The example below shows a test mark calculated as
  a sum of JUNE EXAMS (represented by E1) and TEST
  2 (represented by T2).

• Generates printable timetables
• Seamlessly integrates with the School Records for
  data-sharing
• No limit to the number of periods per day
• No limit to the number of days per cycle
• No limit to the number of educators, subjects and
  classes
• No limit to the number of combinations (or splits
  and ties)
• Uses a wizard layout, to ensure that you dont
  miss out on required data
• A subject (or learning area) may be taught by
  multiple educators, each assigned a certain
  number of periods per cycle,
• Part time or administrative educators, who are
  only available during certain periods in a day or
  cycle, can be accommodated,
• Educators can be reserved during certain periods,
  to ensure that they are available for such
  commitments like committee meetings and so on

Product Support

• Support Fee is R 4, 250 per annum,
• This includes
• Quarterly upgrades and newsletters on
  development progress,
• Telephonic and/or email support,
• Unlimited minor updates and bug fixes,
• Enhancement requests and assigning priority to
  each request,
• Assistance in solving your timetable and other
  unique problems,
• Only payable from the following support year cycle

Additional Services

• Report-Card Development of your schools unique
  report-card is R1, 900 once-off.
• Data Conversion Your existing school records
  can be converted into the School Assistant format
  for only R1, 400 once-off.  This for an unlimited
  number of records from MS-Excel. 
• The cost for all other formats will be quoted
  separately.

Additional Services, contd

• Onsite Support Services We send someone to
  assist you with any software related problems you
  may be having.  This is charged separately on an
  hourly basis.
• Onsite Training An unlimited number of trainees
  may be trained on the software and charged a
  daily rate for it, where the school provides the
  facilities.
