What Is RIMS?
  • Response Information Management System
  • An electronic version of the standards and
    protocols in SEMS
  • Cities, Special Districts
  • Operational Areas,
  • Cal EMA Regions
  • State Operations Center
  • Federal Agencies at State Level

To Access RIMS
  • Internet Service Provider
  • A Web Browser Internet Explorer
  • ID and Password, issued by Cal EMA
  • Available to all cities, special districts,
    operational Areas, state, and federal agencies
    within California that have emergency response
    functions.
  • Note Operational Areas have the authority to
    review and approve, or disapprove, the
    applications from entities within their
    geographical area.
