Leadership
Abstract This poster examines the Teenage Mutant
Ninja Turtles and how they use team leadership to
accomplish their goals. The Ninja Turtles
display several characteristics of team
excellence such as a clear goal, competent team
members, and a collaborative climate. Along with
their master Splinter, the group is able to
achieve success by defeating their arch nemesis
Shredder.

• Clear Goal
• Goal is clearly understood
• Is motivating and accepted by all
• If goal not conceptualized, then personal and
  power issues arise
• Ex.- The Turtles understand that their goal is
  defeating Shredder, but Splinter has to keep them
  motivated sometimes

Collaborative Climate -Trusting
Relationships -Positive Feedback and Friendly
Environment Ex- Around each other entire lives,
help each other through rough times, enjoy pizza,
and they love to party!
Competent Team Members -Different skills and
attributes -Sufficient education and
training Ex.- Masters of ninjutsu, carry their
own unique weapons, receive training from
Splinter, and realize they cannot be seen in
public.
