Evaluation Objective
  • 1. Make an objective assessment of your group
    work.
  • Each individual member of the group should try
    out the multimedia piece as if they are an
    untrained user, and produce a checklist with
    grades and comments against a number of items
  • a. How far have the original intentions been
    achieved?
  • b. Were deadlines met?
  • c. How accurate is it?
  • d. Are all button links logical and do they work?
  • e. How reliable is it is it possible to crash
    it?
  • f. Repeatability do different things happen for
    the same sequence of button clicks each time?
  • 2. Armed with your checklists, perform a similar
    evaluation of your individual work.
  • 3. Working on your own, produce a critical
    evaluation report for each presentation you have
    created, using only objective criteria.

  • 1. Make a subjective assessment of your group
    work.
  • Each individual member of the group should
    pretend they are an untrained user, and produce a
    checklist with grades and comments against a
    number of items
  • a. Does the sound contribute to getting the
    message across?
  • b. Does the video contribute to getting the
    message across?
  • c. Does the animation contribute to getting the
    message across?
  • d. Has the correct level been achieved?
  • e. Is the interaction intuitive, or does it need
    a further presentation to learn how to use it?
  • 2. Armed with your checklists, perform a similar
    evaluation of your individual work.
  • 3. Working on your own, produce a critical
    evaluation report for each presentation you have
    created, using only subjective criteria.
