• I) Foreword
• - State the instructor (i.e. your name because
  you are the author)
• - Objective
• What is an objective?
• - Level of students
• - Length of lesson
• - Materials or aids

• II) Introduction
• - Have some introduction of yourself as well as
  a way to get the kids to introduce themselves
• - Have an attention getter
• - State the goal/objective of the lesson and the
  importance

• III) Body of the lesson
• - Dependent upon whether the format is mounted
  or unmounted
• - Break this portion down into a minimum of
  three parts
• - Write a short paragraph to summarize the main
  portion of the lesson

  goal/objective of the lesson
• - Ask for any questions
• - Thank your students

A Few Suggestions

• Make the lesson as interactive as possible
• Most people learn well when they are involved
• Make the lesson fun but safe
• Which are more memorable lessons the ones where
  you fell asleep out of boredom or the one that
  you had a ton of fun?
• Be creative!!
• Aside from being appropriate safe, there are
  hardly any rules that need to be followed when
  writing up a lesson plan
