TexTESOL II presents Internet Resources
for ESL/ESOL and Bilingual Classrooms at The
University of the Incarnate Word International
Conference Center (Hwy 281 and Hildebrand) April
21, 2001 900 am-1200 pm
Two concurrent hands-on workshops will cover
Internet links to lesson plans, materials,
research and professional organizations, on-line
student activities, as well as software and
textbook publishers. The sessions will take
place concurrently in two computer labs, and the
majority of each workshop time will be devoted to
hands-on exploration of various sites on the
Internet. Presenting sites and materials of
particular interest to K-12 educators will be Dr.
Chris Green, creator of the Diversity Bookmarks
Collection, a collection of over 800 educational
website addresses of interest to bilingual/ESL
educators. Individuals interested in Adult and
Higher Education resources should attend the
presentation by Mr. Stan Ashlock, Director of
Project InterAlt at Southwest Texas State
University.
