• 1. What is Hermeneutics?
• The art of interpretation. Read 2 Peter 120-21
• 2. Why learn how to interpret the Bible?
• Consider the psalmist's goal Ps. 11934 "Give me
  understanding, and I will keep your law and obey
  it with all my heart". Also read John 717.
• This study will help you read the Bible as you
  read any other book, and at the same time to read
  it as you read no other book.
• 3. What is the Old Covenant?
• See Hebrews 81-6

• See Hebrews 87-13
• 5. According to Hebrews 916-18, when is a
  covenant enforced?
• John 1930 and Col. 214-15
• 6. Define "shadow" in Hebrews 85.

  used.
• Note A more complete word study will be given in
  the remaining classes.
